Start Seeds in Paper Towels!

START SEEDS IN PAPER TOWELS!

Supplies needed: Bounty paper towels, Zip lock baggies, seeds.
1. Place the paper towel in water. (Optional: add a couple drops of
Liquid Seaweed to the water.)
2. Press the paper towel between your hands to squeeze out excess water.
3. Lay the paper towel down and spread out the seeds. (Soak hard seeds
in water overnight.)
4. Loosely roll up the paper towel.
5. Place it in the zip lock baggie but don’t zip it shut. Put it on the refrigerator
or some place where you won’t forget about it.
6. Start checking the seeds in a few days by unrolling the towel. Once they
have sprouted, pot them up in 4” pots in fast-draining potting mix.
If they have not sprouted, put the paper back into the baggie and keep
checking every few days until all seeds have sprouted.
